Lethality & Defeat Mechanisms: Increase lethality using small-arms ammunition combined with One-Way Luminescence (OWL) tracers and Auto Target Recognition (ATR). Continued research into frangible rounds of all calibers and Loitering High-Power Microwave (HPM) systems (e.g., MORFIUS) for layered defense.
Platform Integration: Develop vehicle deployment kits for C-UAS, integrate C-UAS kits onto Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs), and develop low-SWaP, "fire and forget" systems.
Battle Network & IFF: Integrate C-UAS awareness into ATAK for dismounted Marines. Develop robust UxS Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) infrastructures to protect friendly unmanned systems from autonomous effector training.
Swarm Control: Leverage SBIR technology (SAIPAN AR PNT) to control UAS swarms executing C-UAS missions.
